Your Strongest Chapter

Something's shifted, and you can't quite name it.

You're doing the things that used to work. Training, eating well, holding it together. But you're waking at 3am. You're exhausted by mid-afternoon. Your body feels unfamiliar, your moods aren't yours, and words disappear mid-sentence in meetings you used to run without thinking.

You've probably been told it's stress. Or your age. Or that you just need to push a bit harder.

It isn't, and you don't.

What's happening to you is hormonally and neurologically real and it responds remarkably well to the right things. Not a detox. Not another restrictive plan. Strength training that respects what your body needs now. Nutrition and recovery that work with your hormones instead of against them. And knowing what's actually going on, which turns out to be more powerful than almost anything else.

That's what Your Strongest Chapter is.

It's a small group program never more than four women built to take you from confused and dismissed to informed, capable and genuinely strong. You'll understand your own symptoms. You'll lift heavier than you thought you could. You'll stop wondering whether it's all in your head.

And you won't do it alone. There's something that happens when four women in the same chapter sit in the same room. The relief of it. The permission.

You're not broken, and you're not too late.

You're standing at the start of your strongest chapter.

Something's Shifted. I Don't Feel Like Myself.
An Honest Evening About Perimenopause & Menopause
An evening for women 35–55

Your Strongest Chapter is an intimate evening for women navigating perimenopause and menopause the ones who want real answers, not reassurance.

Over the course of the evening, Janine walks you through what is actually happening in your body and your brain during this transition. The hormones. The symptoms. The reasons your sleep, your mood, your memory and your body have all changed at once. And most importantly what you can genuinely do about it.

No jargon. No dismissal. No being told to simply push through.

Just honest information, in a warm room, with a glass of wine and a group of women who understand exactly where you are.

WHAT WE'LL COVER

The full picture — what perimenopause and menopause actually are, and why the transition can begin far earlier than most women expect.

The science, in plain English — why your hormones affect your sleep, mood, memory, joints and metabolism, and how those systems connect.

The symptoms nobody names — including the ones women are least likely to raise with a GP, and most likely to suffer through in silence.

What the leading experts say — drawing on the work of some of the world-leading scientists and practitioners.

What actually helps — practical, evidence-based strategies you can begin using immediately, including how to have a more productive conversation with your doctor.

THIS EVENING IS FOR YOU IF:

  • You're a woman somewhere between 35 and 55 and something has shifted, even if you can't name it yet

  • Your sleep, mood or memory have changed and nobody has explained why

  • You've been told it's "just stress" and you've stopped believing that

  • You've googled your symptoms at 3am and come away more confused

  • You want to understand your body rather than fight it

  • You'd like to spend an evening with women who genuinely get it

Hello, I’m Janine

I’m so glad you’re here

I started Move Mind Connect in 2021 after more than a decade in the health and wellbeing space, and sixteen years before that supporting and counselling vulnerable people.

I've spent years standing beside women as they move — in the gym, in the park, in that first wobbly session where they're not sure they belong. I've watched hundreds of women get stronger, and I've watched what happens when their body starts changing the rules on them.

The energy that used to be there. The sleep that used to work. The training that used to deliver results, now doing nothing at all. Weight settling in new places. A brain that feels like it's buffering.

I know that feeling from the inside, too. And I've learnt that being told "it's just your age" or "just push harder" is neither true nor useful.

So I went and got the answers. I trained in perimenopause and menopause education, and I built my coaching around what the research actually says — that these symptoms are hormonally and neurologically real, that lifting heavy is not optional in this chapter, and that knowledge itself is a form of medicine.

That's the thread through everything I do. Strength training that respects what your body needs now, not what worked at 30. Nutrition and recovery that support your hormones instead of fighting them. And straight answers, so you stop second-guessing yourself.

Your Strongest Chapter grew out of that work. Small groups, no more than four women, because being properly heard matters as much as the program itself.

This isn't about getting your old body back. It's about building the strongest version of the one you have now.
